Russ Spicuzza, President of the Bethel Park Soccer Association (BPSA), called the meeting to order at 8:14pm in the Caucus Room of the Bethel Park Municipal Building. Also present were Stan Sbei, Bill Harvey, Rich Chongaway, Dan Saffer,  Bob Monte and Ed Emmett. 

Secretary’s Report: Minutes from August meeting were reviewed. They will be posted on the website. There were no corrections at this time.

Treasurer’s Report: No report.

President’s Report: Russ talked about the PA West coaching clinic (09/23/05)@ 7pm, “How to Scout a Game”, to be held at the state office. This will be followed on (09/25/05) @ the University of Pittsburgh game to scout a live game. South Park Soccer will be sponsoring “Kohl’s America Cup, on Saturday October 1^st, at South Park.

Committee Reports:

Registration: No report.  A brief discussion was held around the delay in notification of flight player’s, and their team assignments.  Only one player was added after deadline.

Communications: No report

PR Fundraising: See attachment provided by Bob Monte.  Great job with Community Day, fun for all.

Flights: Bill Harvey and Jack Kun to meet with James Hippett regarding coaching developing.

Player Development: Stan Sbei reported the numbers for the summer soccer camps.  River Hounds, 41, Shoot to Score 50, MLS 50ish.  Also a special Thank you to Steph Sbei, Kristen Kelley, Lauren Woodring and Matt Brahm for their assistance with the Summer Soccer Program.

Community Liaison: No report.

Old Business: Dan Saffer reported that Bethel Park Soccer was the top producer for the “Soccer Kicks for Cancer” with donations of $ 2,790.00.  He is in the process of distributing the individual awards to the associated players.  He has not scheduled the Clinic.
