Treasurer’s Report: Jack Kun reported that our balance was $21534.42. About $4000 is stilled owed for equipment/uniforms. There is still over 10,000 owed from the rec department for the fall registration.

Jack will have projected budget figures for 2005-2006 for next meeting.

Vice-President’s Report: Mark introduced Tonya and Don Snyder. They made a presentation about a fundraiser for Steve Reilly, an assistant travel coach. Steve has suffered serious health problems and has been unemployed since January. His local church has hosted several fundraisers for the family, and the Snyders are spearheading a fundraiser through the Soccer Association. The board gave their approval. Don and Tonya will work with Jack Kun and Tom Vater on the details of advertising, sales and distribution of Krispy Kreme donut fundraiser. Flyers will go out October 2, and distribution will be October 16, 2004.

Mark also introduced John Lydon, who talked about our bylaws, and suggestions from PA West on new bylaws concerning Risk Management and Hearing Appeals. John’s recommendation was to make these aspects rules or policies, and not by-laws. This would give the board flexibility to manage and update as needed.

The Bylaws committee (John Lydon, Mark Vescovi, Stan Sbei, and Russ Spicuzza) will rework the written bylaws, and get them back out to the board.

Committee Reports:
