Bethel Park Soccer Fields
Note:
Ben Franklin School and Park Avenue fields have bleachers, while
Millennium Park and Neil Armstrong School fields do not.

From
I-79
Take the
Bridgeville Exit (Route 50) and make a right onto Route 50 East. Go
under I-79 and at the “T” (Exxon station directly in front of you),
make a right onto Washington Pike. Follow Washington Pike for 2 miles
and make a left onto Boyce Road. Follow Boyce Road for 3 miles to a
traffic light and go straight across Route 19. At the stop sign, make
a left onto Old Washington Road (turns into Johnston Road). Go about
one mile and at the traffic light, make a right onto McMurray Road.

Franklin School Field (Deans Field):
Follow McMurray Road for ½ mile and make a left at the traffic light
onto South Park Road. Follow South Park Road and after passing
through 3 traffic lights (Logan Road, Church Road and Industrial
Boulevard), the Bethel Park Post Office will be on your right. Make a
right just past the Post Office onto S. Pennsylvania Avenue right
before the Exxon station. At the next intersection at the top of the
hill, make a right onto California Avenue. At the stop sign, make a
left onto Cedar Street to the parking lot. Facilities - Port-a-John.
Park Avenue
Field: Follow McMurray Road
for ½ mile and make a left at the traffic light onto South Park Road.
Follow South Park Road and after passing through 4 traffic lights
(Logan Road, Church Road, Industrial Boulevard and Brightwood Road)
you will go over trolley tracks. Go about 200 yards and at the top of
the hill, make a left onto Park Avenue. The field and parking are on
the right. There is another parking lot on the right just past the
field, before the Community Center. Facilities - Rest rooms at the
Community Center and Port-a-John.
Millennium
Park Field: Follow McMurray
Road for ½ mile and make a left at the traffic light onto South Park
Road. Follow South Park Road straight through 4 traffic lights (Logan
Road, Church Road, Industrial Boulevard and Brightwood Road), and the
fifth traffic light is the entrance to South Park (intersection with
Route 88). Go straight through this intersection onto Baptist Road.
Go straight through two traffic lights (Broughton Road and Horning
Road). You will then pass an ice cream store and car wash on the
right and just past Duke’s Station on the right, make a left into the
entrance to Millenium Park. The field and parking are on the left.
Facilities - Rest rooms.
Neil Armstrong
School Field: Follow
McMurray Road past the traffic light at South Park Road and make a
left at the next light onto Clifton Road. Follow Clifton Road about
2-1/2 miles to the end and make a left onto Route 88. Follow Route 88
about ½ mile and make a right onto Berryman Avenue.
Go about ¼ mile on Berryman and make the third left onto Murray Avenue
(at the top of the hill). Follow Murray Avenue straight back and the
school and field are at the end – the school is on the right, the
field is to the left and down the hill. Facilities - Port-a-John.

From Route 88
South of Bethel Park
Ben
Franklin School Field (Deans Field):
Follow Route 88 North past Clifton Road (“Orange Belt”) and go
straight through the traffic lights at Kings School Road and Logan
Road (Foodland is on the right). About 0.7 miles past Logan Road,
bear left onto Brightwood Road (just past the blue and white AC Delco
sign on the right). Follow Brightwood Road about ½ mile and make a
left at the traffic light onto South Park Road. Go across the trolley
tracks and make the first left onto S. Pennsylvania Avenue - just past
the Exxon station and before the Bethel Park Post Office. At the next
intersection at the top of the hill, make a right onto California
Avenue. At the stop sign, make a left onto Cedar Street to the
parking lot. Facilities - Port-a-John.

Field: Follow Route 88

School Field: Follow
Route 88 North through Library and about ½ mile past
Clifton Road ("Orange Belt") make a
right onto Berryman Avenue. Go about ¼ mile on Berryman and make the
third left onto Murray Avenue (at the top of the hill). Follow Murray
straight back and the school and field are at the end – the school is
on the right, the field is to the left and down the hill. Facilities
- Port-a-John.

From Downtown
Pittsburgh, Route 88 and Points North of Bethel Park
Take I-279 to the
Liberty Bridge and get in the right hand lane to go through the
Liberty Tunnels. Follow the signs for “Route 51 South – Uniontown” at
the tunnel exit. Follow Route 51 South about 3 miles and turn right
onto Route 88 South.

School Field (Deans Field):
Follow Route 88 South about 4 miles and turn right onto South Park
Road (at the entrance to South Park). Follow South Park Road for
about ½ mile and go straight through the light at Brightwood Road and

Millennium
Park Field: Follow Route 88
South about 2-1/2 miles, passing South Hills Junction trolley station
on your right. Go through the next light ("My Garage" auto repair on
the left) and just past the Hollywood Draperies on the right,
turn left onto Hillside Drive before the Columbia Gas facility, being
careful of cars coming the other way around the blind curve. (If you
come to a light at Horning Road, you've gone too far). Go straight
back, past the natural gas filling station and storage facility to
parking. Facilities - Rest rooms.

School Field: Follow
Route 88 South about 4 miles to the entrance of South Park.
Continue on Route 88 South for about 2-1/2 miles through two traffic
lights (Logan Road and Kings School Road) and just past the Corner
Brew beer distributor on your right, make a left onto Berryman
Avenue. Go about ¼ mile on Berryman and make the third left onto
Murray Avenue (at the top of the hill). Follow Murray straight back
and the school and field are at the end – the school is on the right,
the field is to the left and down the hill. Facilities - Port-a-John.

From Route 51
South of Bethel Park and Points East of Bethel Park
Take Route 51
North from I-70. At the cloverleaf past Century III Mall, turn right
and take Lebanon Church Road heading west – follow signs for “Yellow
Belt”. Follow Lebanon Church Road - becomes Curry Hollow Road and
then Broughton Road.

make a left onto Baptist Road at the traffic light (“Tax Office” is on
the far-left corner of the intersection). Follow Baptist Road about ½
mile to the entrance to South Park (intersection with Route 88). Stay
in the right hand lane and go straight through the intersection onto
South Park Road. Follow South Park Road for about ½ mile and go
straight through the traffic light at Brightwood Road and over the
trolley tracks. Make a left onto S. Pennsylvania Avenue - just past
the Exxon station and before the Bethel Park Post Office. At the next
intersection at the top of the hill, make a right onto California
