Directions to Morton Field
From Liberty Bridge or West End Bridge
follow the signs to get onto Route 19 South. Follow the signs for 19 South
(it changes roads sometimes) through Dormont, Mt. Lebanon. Go past South
Hills Village Mall (on your left) and then USC High School (on your right).
At the next light, turn right onto Old Washington Rd. There is a small
green sign that says "Morton Field Complex." Make a quick left onto
Hastings Mill Rd. and follow this about a mile-it bends to the right and
then to the left. Look for Morton Road on your left-turn left there and the
fields will be obvious, on your right. If you get to Baker Elementary
School, you have gone too far.
From I-79
Take the Bridgeville Exit at the end of the exit ramp, turn right and
proceed to the "T" in the center lane. Turn left onto Route 50 North-be in
the far right lane to make the first right onto Lesnett Rd. Go up to the top
of the hill and make a right onto Mayview Rd. Go a short distance and turn
left onto Morrow Road. This is quite winding but follow to a stop sign at
top of hill by a baseball field. Turn right onto Hasting Mill Rd. and then
make the first right onto Morton Road. There is a firehouse type building
just before the turn. You can see the fields on your right.
OR
Turn right at the "T" onto Rt. 50 south. Follow
about a mile and turn left onto Boyce Road. Follow this for about 2 miles,
crossing over Mayview Road about half way. Turn left onto Morton Road-the
fields will be on your left where Morton intersects with Hasting Mills Rd.
